Oops. On Roll #311 I said Dan & Jen at a BBQ. The BBQ pictures aren't until this roll (#312). And of course we showed them the Olympic Park, the biggest attraction of course is the stadium set for 110,000 seating.
Again, thanks to John (Colleen's Dad) for wonder assistance with the garden. It is a flowering paradise at times so we couldn't help but give you the pleasure we get from looking at all the different colours and shapes.
Colleen was invited to attend a 1 day meeting in Edinburgh Scotland as part of her rolls within DECUS. So we left on a Thursday, arrived in Edinburgh at 11am. The meeting finished at 8pm, we left for Detroit at 8am the next morning, spend 40 hours with Larry's folks there and then back to Sydney. Elapsed time - 6 days ! Not for the faint hearted.
Anyway, Larry did a quick tour of the Edinburgh Castle (you have seen the Highland Tattoo- it's held in the car park of this Castle !) and walk around the city. Colleen was keen to do SOME site seeing, so we retraced Larry's steps after the meeting finished at 8pm. We took the picture in front of and in the cab with Colleen & I in the photo, just to prove we were there together.
Was great of course to see the folks in Detroit, even if it was for a short time. Just good ol' family time together.
