Council by Hornsby Shire

| Well Council's "Official" web site has finally been launched ! It took a while, but appears to be worth it. A little heavy on the graphics makes for a bit slower loading of pages than you might like. The photos are beautiful though. Generally the site is worth the wait. |

Don't know if Sheree Hanley is still around at the Hornsby Library, but we all should send a vote of thanks. While the Council's "unofficial" web site is no longer on line, it was Sheree, a dedicated librarian staffer, who, in her spare time, created and kept it reasonably up to date. So, thanks Sheree Hanley, (Include Sheree's name in the e-mail since it is a HSC generic e-mail address.).
There is LOTS on the new web site.
For instance, you might be interested in your councillor. But if you check out the Councillors page, only some of them have their photographs. And only ONE has their own e-mail address listed. We understand that you can send mail to the councillors via a general HSC e-mail address. Use Hornsby Councillors E-mail to quickly send complaint, request, etc. (or thank you) to a Hornsby Councillor. (Include the Councillor's name in the e-mail since again it is a generic HSC e-mail address.)
Or you may be interested to know the actual goings on of Hornsby Council. Did you know that you can actually access an electronic version of the Council's Business Papers ! It's mentioned in the What's New, (check that out frequently !) But here is a direct link to Hornsby Council's Electronic Business Papers.
