Welcome to the home of the
Chatswood Wine & Dine Society
For some 419 dinners (11 per year, so that's some 38 years +) a group has been meeting
at the Chatswood Business Club (and occasionally other restaurants around Sydney) to
partake in fine wine and food.
Members of the Wine & Dine take turns hosting a dinner, arranging either personally
or with the assistance of the club or restaurant chef, the entire meal. The host can
call upon the assistance of a winemaster, cheesemaster & coffeemaster to aid in the
selection or provision of the various parts of the the meal. Each month a menu is
prepared and the members have an opportunity to comment on the wine, the food, and the
combination. The host sums up the intent or focus of the meal identifying why
certain combinations may have been chosen.
A great time is had by all, and the ladies join us in June and December.
There are various archives of menus from most of the dinner. But now we can start
an archive so that all can share.

the December 1998 (#418) dinner. Others will be added historical and in the future
as time permits.
