Welcome to YOUR Olympic Site

 One of the claims made for the Sydney 2000 Olympics was that is was going to be a games for the people.  Well, there has been the ticket scandal where far fewer tickets were made available than promised, Then there was the revelation that the Olympic committee had all the best hotel rooms in Sydney and were the only ones that would get to the Olympics in cars, while everyone else had to take public transport.  And so on.

Well, with the Olympic Torch Relay visiting about 90% of Australia's population and the local shire (Hornsby) announcing the torch would stop for "lunch" in local Pennant Hills Park, it may be that the games just might have "people" side.  And what community web site could overlook such a community event.  So the idea was to have YOUR Olympic reference site.
